Officially out of the 3/S world...

Post by Jon M » Sun Jun 28, 2009 2:33 pm

Traded in the 3/S and picked up an 09 Tacoma. 4.0 V6, double cab, 4x4 short bed, with TRD Sport package and towing package. Bought with 19 miles on it.

The truck is awesome. I miss the 3/S but not all the upcoming maintenance it required and the stuff WAAAAY past due.

So, it's been nice being a part of the community even if I wasn't a die hard making it to every single meet but had a lot of fun with the Mankato peeps.

Tacomas are great trucks, I have an '03 and love it. Sucks to see your car go for it, but just buy a TT in the future so you have a fun car and a reliable truck.

That's what I just did, bought a -'04 GMC Envoy 4X4 SLT XUV, so now i have a reliable truck (hopefully) and still have my fun (?) car.

You will be back someday. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of price did you get for a trade? Might be going that way myself.

$2000; needed a new clutch at the time.

One of the younger sales guys bought it.
