Tire recommendations

Post by bluejediz » Tue Mar 25, 2014 3:28 pm

This spring i'll be putting some new tires on the stealth. What tires have you guys had good results with?
I've got my eye on the BFG COMP-2 and the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO.
Any experience with these or thoughts on other good choices?
Thanks

I love how the guy that works at a Goodyear is looking for Tire recommendations!

In all honesty, I really like Dunlop Tires, specially the Dunlop Direzza DZ101. And currently right now I have Dunlop SP Extreme Sport and have been very happy (only got these because they were on clearance).

I had a feeling you were gonna say that Steve lol
The DZ101 caught my eye as well, only $113 a piece at discount which is cheaper than I can get them for some crazy reason. I just wanted to hear some real life experience from you guys.

John has been very happy with BFGoodrich KDW. They have a long treadlife and good grip.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think i'm gonna go with the Fuzion ZRi's/UHP. Made by Bridgestone. They are super cheap through my supplier at work and have surprisingly good reviews, better than the direzza dz101.
Now if only summer would get here so I can test em out :)

I have the Ventus V12 Evo's I really like them. They have been on the car for a summer and a half now and still look almost new. I'll be getting them again, whenever the next time I need tires is.
