That explains a lot of Indian cab drivers in New York :lol:

BTW: I've seen a report on TV: some mayor of a smaller town in the Netherlands made this experiment- removed all the lights and signs from the roads inside city limits- that supposedly reduced traffic and number of accidents: Drivers and pedestrians started paying attention...

He was grounding his experiment with some scientific study about traffic as a self-regulating system, where tries to regulate it do more harm than good (to some threshhold).

The video footage they've shown- looked somewhat like in the post above, but little slower and less dense.
It is really hard to believe- you all know what happens to heavy traffic if a stoplight goes out...
I dream of owning a house only because it comes with a garage.

that's because everyone stops... I have no problem weaving through traffic because the new "stop sign" spreads it out

Yeah, I bet brakes cause waay more accidents than accelerator pedal...
Therefore- braking should be outlawed :wink:

thats why the US doesnt have any superhighways like the autobahn cause' people are stupid and freak out in bad weather and talk on their phones and put make up on and watch TV while driving just drive and pay attention its that simple
