Windows

Post by streetracerwhite » Thu Feb 18, 2010 12:11 am

So brought the car to the car wash today and the water was like rushing in. not just a dribble here or there but kinda all over. (Yes the window was rolled up) So is it possible the window pushed out from the door trim and what are some easy ways to fix it? Thanks in advance.

There are a bunch of little rubber stoppers which regulate how high the window rolls up and at what angle. They are all within the door frame so you first have to take the door panel off, then remove the little sticky plastic and take a look to see which one needs to be adjusted.

Though, this isn't usually something that just gets misaligned on its own. Has it always done this?

I used to hold a towel to the drivers side window in my Stealth when I took it through car washes in the winters.

I wish I had one. lol Put my north face jacket to the test, blue jeans not so cool since most of the water was in the seat. Got some great looks walking into the apartments.
